AvoTL is a name I believe God gave me after much prayer for the compilation of the artwork I create in honor of God and to bring God glory. Originally, the name was Spiritual Artwear and as the name implied, art that you wear which has a spiritual meaning behind it. The spiritual and story aspects of my art remains under a new name,  AvoTL which is an acronym for "A vessel of The Lord". Who is The Lord? Jesus, the Son of God...Jesus is the only one I serve through my art and all my artwork depicts true accounts found throughout history to point people towards Jesus, the only Savior. I am a vessel of The Lord, Jesus. Anyone who believes in Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection by faith is also a vessel chosen for honor.

2 Timothy 2:21 NLT

"Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work."

God (Jesus), the creator of all life designed everyone with purpose. A "vessel" in its original language meaning is defined as a "chosen instrument". God desires to use all of us as chosen instruments for the purpose God created each of us for. You may not be an artist, but you have a purpose.

You have a great divine purpose and as one of God's chosen vessels, God wants to be in relationship with you to help you fulfill your divine purpose in life. God wants you to know His good, just, merciful, loving, gracious, and redeeming character; that no matter how far you may have fallen, God is a healer and can restore all. Without a relationship with God, one cannot serve their divine purpose.

Beginning a relationship with God begins with knowing His Son Jesus who God sent to save the lost. Humanity was walking towards their own destruction due to their sinful nature. Jesus brought  healing, redemption, wisdom, authority,  but above all Jesus defeated sin through His death, burial, and resurrection as well as demonstrated God's mercy and grace by forgiving sins and offering a free gift of eternal life to all that believe in Jesus and what Jesus did for all humanity. Jesus died for the sins of the world so that anyone who believes in Jesus can be forgiven of their sins and  have eternal life. This is the "Good News" or "Gospel Message."

John 3:16 NKJV

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Romans 10:9-10 NLT

"If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved."

Knowing Jesus is as simple as talking to a friend. You may not see Him physically, but He's there listening at all times. Call out to Him, share your heart with Him. Tell Him about all your troubles, what you may be struggling with, let out all your burdens and then listen quietly for Him to answer. You may not hear a voice, but listen in your spirit.

1 Peter 5:6-7 ERV

"So be humble under God's powerful hand. Then he will lift you up when the right time comes. Give all your worries to him, because he cares for you."

Begin you relationship with God (Jesus) today by reading the Bible.
